Josh Goldsberry

Josh, originally from Fair Oaks, California, relocated to Chico in 2007 to pursue higher education at Chico State. Demonstrating a deep commitment to community service, he invests his time volunteering for various events, leaving a positive impact on his surroundings. Having achieved the esteemed Eagle Scout rank, he now serves as a scout master, guiding and mentoring the next generation. Nature enthusiast and avid outdoorsman, Josh's passion extends to hiking, camping, and backpacking. With over seven years of dedicated involvement in the Burning Man community, he has fostered a spirit of creativity and communal expression. Josh studied in Choy Li Fut Gung Fu for 12 years and received a black belt rank showcasing discipline and skill. In 2023 during the construction and buildout of Empower Hot Yoga, he decided to join his wife’s 200-hour Yoga Alliance training to become a certified teacher, Josh specializes in mobility, utilizing his expertise to promote physical well-being and joint health. 

In the personal sphere, Josh celebrates a twelve-year journey with his wife, proudly parenting two remarkable kids. A fully active dad, he is dedicated to attending every game and volunteering to bolster team support and school functions. As the co-owner of Empower Hot Yoga, Josh not only realizes his dream but passionately supports his wife in bringing this vision to life.
