Application

Thank you for your interest in our Teacher Training Program and congratulations on taking action on the call to lean into a deeper connection through yoga. At Empower, we take our training seriously; this is not a casual commitment, nor is an application an automatic acceptance/entry to the program.

All applicants will be considered, and students who are accepted, commit to participate fully in an immersive and comprehensive learning experience. Once the application has been submitted, we will contact you to confirm your application, coordinate an in-person interview, once approved into the program you will need to complete the enrollment/waiver agreement contract and place your deposit to secure your spot in the program.

This training has a broad curriculum because some programs teach you only one way, meaning that you will learn one sequence and philosophy of yoga. Our school explores the world of yoga and has a variety of integrative styles, encouraging you to find your own unique voice and pick a style that resonates most with you. While also having the knowledge and broad understanding of multiple styles and techniques of yoga. We are Yoga Alliance approved and cover the 5 categories designated by Yoga Alliance.

There is no expectation for your ability to do any particular yoga poses or practice. You will be met at this training exactly where you are and we will progress together as a YTT community. There is also no requirement for an intention to actually teach yoga after you graduate. Many students find YTT a deeply personal aspect of their yoga journey.

You will have an understanding of what it means to be a part of a conscious community. We will spend 10 weekends in a sacred training circle; building relationships with fellow trainees who are walking a similar path. Furthermore, upon graduation, you will have countless tools to help you continually create conscious communities, whether that is in your personal life or as a yoga teacher.

Training Application

200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Located at Empower Hot Yoga School. Program is 10 training weekends in a span of 4 months. Starting Thursday, September 7, 2023, to Sunday, December 10, 2023.
